Ugh, so I get to work today excited that it's Friday. I'm not superstitious, so I couldn't give less of a crap that it's Friday the 13th.
Anyway, I get to my desk and see I have a voicemail. I rarely get voicemails, when I do, they're usually shitty. Yeeeeup. Turns out I CAN NOT use my last week of vacation the week of the 23rd like I thought I could. In order to do that, I'd have to come in on the 30th to do my sign-out paperwork.
K. Well I am moving to Oklahoma? I can't just "come back"? That's a $350-500 flight. I bring home $546 a week? FAIL? What the hell is the point of me spending 64-89% of my paycheck to fly back here? And now it is too late for me to use that week since NEXT WEEK IS MY LAST WEEK BEFORE I LEAVE! Thank you for waiting til the last minute to tell me! I am glad I wasted 3 years being a temp here without health insurance catching cancer from all the horse piss floating around this place.
FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU Wyeth and Kelly Services, you are awful and you will live in Bloganonymity NO MORE! I am glad I only have a week left here and if I do not get to use my vacation the way I was told I could, I am going to be LIVID.

What was special about this day was I was hung over as FUCK and I had to have Alicia pull over on the I93 on-ramp so I could puke. It was an enjoyable day after that.

I am tired tonight...
So I'm just gonna post a picture of what I cooked for dinner earlier
It is whole wheat pasta with sauteed grape tomatoes, garlic, onions and chicken. It was pretty tasty, and I rubbed some garlic clove on toasted baguette.
What's really going on here is I'm trying to ensure no one comes near me at work tomorrow to talk about my new job :-p

POSTING!
I haven't posted much here, I use tumblr a TON, but that's mostly for posting stupid pictures and recipe links that I might wanna look at later.
In 20 days I am starting training for my new job. Suffice to say, I am compleeeeetely freaked out! I have 7 days left at my current job where I've been relieved of all duties, so I just sit around all day doing absolutely NOTHING. I guess I shouldn't complain since I still HAVE a job, they could've canned me when I told them I was leaving at the end of the month. They're letting me take my remaining vacation days after I leave, too, which is incredibly handy and nice of them. So I'll be getting paid to drive down to Oklahoma City... Well, kinda.
Anyway, I started this blog a little over a year ago to document my progression through the ATC application process/OKC training/OJT training, but the whole thing took so long I just lost interest. I mean, I initially applied in JUNE 2007. And now I will be graduating OKC slightly over 2 years later. That's quite a bit of waiting, so what was I supposed to blog about the whole time?
SOoooo, I'll try to update this thing more now.
